Ekta Foundation Lights Up Rawta Village with Mega Camp Success: Empowering Micro Food Enterprises and Nurturing Futures
New Delhi, [12th July 2003]: In a significant stride towards women empowerment and child development, Ekta Foundation proudly participated in a transformative Mega Camp held at Rawta Village in South West Delhi. Organized by the district administration, this impactful event served as a crucial platform for community outreach and direct engagement, showcasing Ekta Foundation’s unwavering commitment as one of the Top NGOs in India dedicated to holistic societal upliftment.
Under its pivotal role as the District Resource Agency for the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME MOFPI) scheme, a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Food Processing Industry (MOFPI, Government of India), Ekta Foundation took center stage. Our team of experts meticulously spread awareness about the PMFME scheme among eager beneficiaries. These individuals, aspiring to establish their own Micro Food Processing units, received vital information on how to access credit linkage – a cornerstone for turning their entrepreneurial dreams into reality. This initiative directly contributes to women and empowerment by fostering self-reliance and economic independence within the community. Our dedicated skill training initiatives are often a prerequisite for beneficiaries seeking to formalize their enterprises, ensuring they are well-equipped for success.
Ekta Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Delhi State Industrial & Infrastructure Corp (DSIIDC) for their invaluable support, which played a crucial role in the seamless execution of this mega camp. Such collaborations are vital for reaching grassroots communities and ensuring the effective delivery of government schemes.
Beyond the vital informational outreach, Ekta Foundation deepened its connection with the community through a heartwarming Biscuit distribution drive at the camp. This simple act of providing affordable and nutritious food was met with immense appreciation. The joyous faces of children and adults alike, savoring the delicious biscuits, underscored the immediate impact of such welfare initiatives.
The efforts of Ekta Foundation were highly lauded by the district officials and the numerous participants of the Camp. Their commendation is a testament to our continuous dedication to serve and uplift. A special note of thanks goes to McVitie’s India for their generous contribution of yummy biscuits, which brought smiles to countless faces. We extend our specific gratitude to Ritesh Gauba, ANURAG KUMAR, Anju Verma, Akhil Sood, Manisha Malhotra, and Uppal of McVitie’s India, whose support exemplifies true corporate social responsibility.
Ekta Foundation remains committed to its mission as a Popular NGO in India, striving to enhance soft skills training, promote female empowerment, and ensure child development. Our work at the Mega Camp in Rawta Village reinforces our position as a leading Indian NGO on the list of NGOs in India, constantly innovating to create a better future for all. Furthermore, our burgeoning capacity as a Bulk Food Supplier in Delhi NCR allows us to extend our reach in providing essential nutrition, often linking back to the very women we empower through our food processing initiatives.
