Ekta Foundation Expands Didi Ka Dhaba Initiative with New Cloud Kitchen
Ekta Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of its first centralized cloud kitchen under the Didi Ka Dhaba initiative in Matiala Village, Delhi. This milestone marks a significant step forward in our mission to empower women and improve community nutrition.
With the generous support of the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation and SIDBI, we have equipped 30 women entrepreneurs with state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and 25 stainless steel food kiosks to kickstart their culinary ventures. In addition, 2 e-bikes have been provided to facilitate efficient food delivery.
This initiative aligns perfectly with our commitment to skill training and women empowerment. By providing comprehensive training in food preparation, business management, and financial literacy, we are equipping these women with the tools they need to achieve economic independence.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Shri Vivek Prakash, Vice President & Head, CSR at Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Shri Naresh Ku Solanki, DGM Small Industries Development Bank of India, and Shri Hemant Kumar- IAS, West Delhi District Magistrate for their invaluable support. Their partnership has been instrumental in making this vision a reality.
Through initiatives like Didi Ka Dhaba, Ekta Foundation is proud to contribute to the government’s Affordable and Nutritious Food security mission. We believe that by empowering women, we are not only improving their lives but also strengthening the fabric of our communities.
